Around you, Poison Tera Crystals, minerals imbued with Dynamax Energy, and more exist for you to mine, harvest, and gather. However, more exists below each power spot. In fact, it is possible to leap into these power spots into dark labyrinthe caves below.[break][break]

Making their descent into the power spot of the desert, Yuina made sure to pay close attention to the readings she was taking of the energy levels, given the titanic Pokemon that had emerged powered by the very same dynergy.[break]
She sat atop Rasza's back, listening as her partner started thinking aloud... Until she wished she hadn't been listening at all. Yuina grew pink at the mention, both for the implications and the sheer out of place nature of that train of thought... What an entirely odd thing to say...[break][break]
"Uhm... I think you're free to take that market... That's all you," Yuina offered... awkwardly... easily glancing down back into the equipment screen she held.

You may encounter a paranoid Pierce Creighton, one of Hoenn's Scientists, exploring the caves too. Should you approach him, he does not let you come close. The keenest eye may scry blood splatter on his shoes. Despite his haggard appearance, he bestows supplies should you require them. Otherwise, encounter poor bystanders trapped here, like backpackers or even a feral Megalopolan.[break][break]

And/or encounter a DYNAMAXED/GIGANTAMAXED POKEMON WITH A DYNAMAX SHIELD that must be downed. Regardless, the Pokemon will perish after its transformation. Investigating its carcass will reveal that it has somehow incorporated Dynite Ore onto its body. Though it is no Regi-titan, one may make macabre parallels.[break][break]

Purple light sluices over them. The crystals sing, vibrato frequency changing just enough to constantly pick up on it.

The smell of sweet rot hits them as they round a corner.

“Ee-yuck. Somethin’ big died down here.” Her next step causes her boot to squelch. She reaches down and picks up something fuzzy and yellow with her metal hand. “Huh. Oh, look, a sombrero. This was a Ludicolo.”

Walking carefully through the cavern, the scene they came up on was truely gruesome and intoxicating. The smell of decay came around the corner before they truly saw what happened, but with the remnants of a mass amount of dynergy emanating around them, it was easy to deduce what might have happened.[break][break]
"It must have been taken over by dynamax energy... This is an authentic power spot, and when the energy fades and releases its hold... A Pokemon can't survive," Yuina returned, the phenomena had no shortage of absolutely devastating effects, and made her wonder if it was worth subjecting Pokemon to at all. But everything during the VCT seemed safe enough? Maybe it just needed to be studied more.
